What is the show about?

Amped Up TV is a brand new music and entertainment show that covers up-and-coming to well established independent musicians. It runs around around 5-10 minutes and has everything from live footage to exclusive interviews. The hope is to become an outlet for musicians and source for independent music fans. It is being broadcast for free online and through iTunes, along with many other places.

When do new episodes come out?

Episode releases are on every second Thursday but we do also put out bonus content every other Thursday also. You can check the home page on the top right corner to see when the next episode is going to be encase you lost track or are new to the show.

Why distribute this online?

We believe strongly in the future of web distributed video and feel its the best medium to publish the show. Online media is still in the infancy years and is growing exponentially. Also, online media is available to anyone world wide, allowing us to reach a larger audience. You can, of course, watch the show on our site with the flash player or download one of our many different formats. You could also subscribe to our RSS feed in iTunes or your favorite podcatcher. What are the different formats for?

We offer multiple formats for the show to download so you can get the video that best suits you needs.

Different formats include:

    • Great for the best viewing experience on full screen on any monitor/television. It is formated to also work with the Apple TV. This is the best quality format we have to offer.
  • Small Quicktime
    • Not as high quality as the large quicktime but still is good enough for most application with the bonus of a smaller file size. Perfect for portable media players. Formatted to work flawlessly with iPods.
  • Windows Media
    • Alternative to large Quicktime if you do not have quicktime player. This is formatted perfectly for the X-box 360.
  • MP3
    • Audio only version perfect for people who don’t have time to watch the videos. Can be listen to while doing other tasks.
